St Mark's Community Activities & Events
Mainly Music
Mondays and Fridays 9am-11am
Babies, toddlers, pre-schoolers and carers will be treated to music, activities and interactions, structured and unstructured fun. Each session is designed for delight as you participate together. You’ll experience a rich learning environment.
Sessions cost $6 per family, which includes a healthy morning tea for all, plus tea and coffee. Sessions run every Monday and Friday of the school term, with the exception of the first Monday and last Friday of the term. Doors open at 9am for free play, with the music session starting at 9.30am and running for approximately half an hour. Then we all sit down as a group and have a chat while enjoying morning tea together, before heading outside for art and crafts, sensory play, and free play.
No need to register ahead of time and no lock in contracts. We understand that life with little people can be unpredictable, so you only pay for the sessions you attend.
Parents, Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles and Nannies are all welcome to bring along their little ones and join in the fun. It's a great way to make friends and have a fun, value for money morning.
Held in the hall downstairs at St Marks Lutheran church Mt Gravatt 71 Newnham Rd, Mt Gravatt.
Open Door
2nd and 4th Tuesday of Every Month, 9am-11am

Open Door is a very welcoming, caring, sharing group where everyone supports each other. It is aimed at our senior members and friends are always welcome.
​
We meet in the hall every second and fourth Tuesday, starting at 9.30 with morning tea, washed down with lots of chatter and laughter. Then we play many varieties of card or board games until 11.30.
​
Come along, and make some new friends we would love to see some new faces.

Each year, St Mark's proudly hosts its Community Winter Festival, bringing together families, friends, and the wider community for a day of fun, entertainment, and connection.

The festival features a fantastic selection of food trucks, market stalls, free children's arts and crafts, face painting, an animal farm, and an exciting rock climbing wall.
With something for all ages to enjoy, it's a wonderful opportunity to spend time together, support local vendors, and celebrate our vibrant community.

St Mark's Christmas Carols
St Mark's warmly welcomes the community to its annual Christmas Carols celebration towards the end of each year, a joyful evening of music, fellowship, and festive spirit.

Browse the festive Christmas markets, enjoy delicious food available for purchase. As the evening draws to a close, we gather together for a joyous sing-along of much-loved Christmas carols.
